How often are you faced with a situation wherein you are struggling with knowing what to do? Hindsight almost always provides more clarity but that's only after you have had the opportunity to gather and/or recognize more of the "facts" in the situation. But what if it is the first time that you ever faced the issue and you don't have the luxury of time to reflect?

From John 14:26: "But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you."

Jesus said that the Holy Spirit would remind us of the things He desires us to know. There are times when the Holy Spirit speaks into our spirit and gives us what we need at the moment. That is just one of the roles of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer. That said, the more we know God's Word, the more often the Holy Spirit can remind you of that verse and bring it to mind.

What has occurred for you recently wherein the Holy Spirit provided you with the insight that you needed? Reflect back over these times and how the Spirit directed you. What would have happened if you hadn't received and been open to this guidance?
